Over the last few years, I’ve worked closely with early-stage startups primarily as a product designer, but often stepping into whatever was need of the hour. I don’t believe design starts with design. I start by thinking like a user, what would be convenient? Then like a founder, what’s feasible with current resources? Only then do I put on the design hat and make it all click.

And I’ve been a founder myself, so ownership and 2 a.m. bust out moments aren’t new to me. Now I’m looking forward to bring that same energy as a designer in other startups.
